In 2009 Award Winning Brewmaster Steve Mazylewski took over the reins as head brewmaster for Crown Brewing. Steve is a Chicagoland native with over two decades of experience in a number of successful brewpubs.

Knowing what he wanted to do with his life he took all the right classes in school and in 1988 jumped at an opportunity to get his apprenticeship as an assistant brewer when a new pub opened up in his home town of Berwyn, IL.

He spent the next decade honing his craft as the Head Brewer for a variety of brewpubs across the nation as well as training abroad in a lager brewery in Vienna, Austria.

He has one goal, create the Best Beer for the patrons of Crown Brewing.
