In the spring of 2008 Crown Brewing opened for business at a beautifully restored historical building in downtown Crown Point, IN.

Our goal is to simply craft the best beer - beer that we could be proud of and our patrons could enjoy for years to come. We understand this is no small undertaking, but it is something we feel is worth while and are fully committed too.

The pub itself features a comfortable bar and dining areas as well as a beautiful outdoor patio. It is a great place to relax after a long day and enjoy a pint or watch the game with some friends.

We want Crown Brewing to be a place that people think of when they need a night out on the town or want to kick back and a have a beer with a few friends.

Throughout the year we host a variety of parties and celebrations in our Free Banquet Room. It is an ideal place for birthday parties, office luncheons, family celebrations, bridal showers or engagement parties.

For history buffs or those visiting from out of town,  we are located next door to the famous Crown Point Jail where the infamous John Dillinger escaped from on March 3, 1934.

The building was also utilized during the 2009 movie about Dillinger, "Public Enemies".
 

Crown Point is host to many other historical buildings like the Lake County Courthouse and Historical Museum, antique and specialty shops, plus many other entertainment facilities.

Our pub also has a unique wall of windows providing our patrons a full view of our fermenting tanks.

For those interested in the brewing process, we are more than happy to answer any questions you have, because if there is one thing we like to do, it is to talk about beer!
